with good buddy doug, left, at a purple concert, toronto, aug. 04. thin lizzy and joe satriani were also on the bill. i had two backstage passes, but doug's wife was also with us. doug wasn't going to come backstage without his wife; next thing i knew both of them were beside me; roger glover's girlfriend (roger is purple's bassist) miriam happened to be there and let my friend's wife in. no lie. later, schell from the purple web site clarified it was indeed miriam.
